Puffle Launch Coming to Android, Makes Top 10 in App Store

So in case you didn't already know, my personal FAAAVORITE game, Puffle Launch, (you can read my review of it here) was released for the iPhone and iPad a while ago, and managed to make the Top 10 Paid Apps in the App Store!
And for those unlucky suckers with Android-powered phones (*snort*ME*snort*)-well, start feelin' lucky. Puffle Launch is now available in the Android Market RIGHT NOW.

As some of you know, the new clothing catalog came out recently.
I want to know your thoughts on it.
BUT MOSTLY... I WANT TO KNOW THIS!!!!
Should the clothing catalogs go back to selling just clothes, not costumes, and leave the costumes for the stage? Or should they leave everything the way it is.
Me and Beaks have done alot of talking... and we both agree that we liked CP better before all the changes. We like the old login. We liked the old lighthouse music!!! We liked the PSA and the EPF seperate. We also liked the St. Patricks Day party! Now while some changes on CP have been ok, most have not. When you arrive into Herbert's chamber, the alarm wll sound, you need to throw snowbals at the three power boxes shown.

When you do, G will teleport parts to build a mini AC 300. Assemble in as shown! Herbert is captured, but Klutzy got away!

EPF gret snow race guide (part 2)

After you follow Herbert's pawprints, you will arrive in this area. Make sure you have you infrared helmet on. Now, avoid the lasers to get to the laddder.

After that dodge the lasers, get the key, and get to the cave exit.

This one is pretty tricky, dodge the usual lasers, but this time there are beams of lght too. Wait untill thre are at their slowest point and run past, but you have to be quick!

Welcome back penguins! Lately I have been having to do schoolwork and lots of it too, but now I have come back to update on this blog again. So this should suit your fancy! A guide to the Great Snow Race!' What, you ask but I will give you the guide!

When you first get into THIS cave, you need to click on all of the icicles blocking the exit.

Go take a break and get yourself some fish dogs and coffee.

Next click on this brush until it cleans of the snow on the axe.

Next, pick up the axe and chop down the trunk.

Now, fnally, you need to throw a snowball at these particular icicles hanging from the ceiling. (at such an ironc spot, too)

This is my post where i do not save my angry comments for another post. CP is rapidly becoming a different game. They have changed everything and more change is to come. If you have been playing cp for about 3 years, like I have, you can notice a huge difference. It is my belief that Billybob is no longer in complete power of cp anymore. Billybob would never have done this, this, horrible thing to Club Penguin.They have BANNED many of the previous parties which were actually GOOD! Quests 2 and 3 of the medieval party were fun, but think, would that have ever happened to old cp?The last GOOD party was the Festival of filght, and that was a LOOOONG time ago.The sport shop is gone, the pet shop is completely different with horrible new puffle looks, the dance lounge is completely awful, the Everyday Phoning Facility is in ruins, the PSA is GONE,everything is now about being a member (which is dislike), the newspaper is AWFUL!. Now cp has gone a tad bit across the line........ They changed the home screen look! The look has stayed the same for i dont know HOW many years! Now they just up and changed it. Disney saved CP and

ruined

it at the same time!

The only rooms that are the same now are the cove, the pool, the gift shop, dance club, coffee shop, book room ,ski hill, dock, beacon,Ski Lodge,and pizza parlor. Personally, the town is my favorite room, along withthe coffee shop because they still have CP's origanal graphic designs. If ANYTHING happens to the coffee shop, I will blow a fuse. CP used to be a game where anyone could have fun and there were stlyes for everyone. Now cp just can't stop changing their original graphic designs and making the remaning beta penguins want to quit. Club penguin now needs to be owned by another company that will make cp the way it used to be before all of the changes. I would do that myslef if I had the chance. The PSA would be brought back, the old parties would be brought back, old rooms will be brought back,old puffle looks will be brought back, old igloo designs would be brought bsck, andold furniture would be brought back.If I was the founder of cp, cp would be great again, not just a wimpy little kid site, because that is what it is rapidly turning into!

Herbert's Hydra's

Yes, that's right. Herbert has taken the hydras from the medieval party, upgraded them, and now, he is using them as a weapon of little destruction! It is horrible, I know, but we must stand strong! to get there, go to the Everyday Phoning Facility.
When you are in, you will see this, go up the ladder.

And Battle the hydras! Watch out for the red one though. If you get hit by it's fire, you have to start all over!

If you manage to complete this challenge, you get an EPF badge pin, and one of the Hydra head furniture items. Coral right?

With all of the new things going on in cp, it is now my opinion that cp is no longer the cp it once was. For example, the PSA. That was too awesome, and look, CP DESTROYED IT! Ill save my angry comments for another post,but for now I want to talk to you about puffles. Mmm-hmmm. Very interesting. I was going in to check on my puffles, when I noticed that they looked different. take a look at my green puffle.

Stadium is BACK!

Good news, the stadium is back, bad news, the stadium is back. Soccer is my favorite sport in cp, but I have grown fond of hockey... That is beside the point. There is a new snow and sports catalog which I will do the cheats on soon. What I really hope is that Club Penguin doesn't go back to those fake olympic games!

In Focus: Herbert's History

As some of you agents might know this, but for the non agents, Herbert is pretty well-known among cp, even for non agents. What you don't know, however, is how he came to Club Penguin. If you pay attention to this post, his history will be cleared up.
When Herbert was a little baby polar bear, he lived in the arctic circle. (north pole) He hated the cold, and...

His dream was to get warm and live on an island where it was warm with hot, sandy beaches.

So he hoppped on an iceberg to head for warmer weather. He only had melted iceberg water to drink, and kelp to eat. (ewwww)The weather did get warmer once he hit the equator. He probably did come close to an island but was asleep.

Soon, he came to Club Penguin and found that it was covered in snow too! He paddled away his ice berg, but it tipped and he fell into the ocean. Klutzy the Crab, rescued him from the water and brought Herbert to land.He began walking around and came across penguins, whom he hated. He grew more and more frustrated until he tried to destroy the island! of course we stopped him... Herbert is a vegitarian and will NOT eat meat, a hint for some missions.

This is herbert's history of how he came to Club Penguin. I hope this helped!

Hey, guys, I'm still working on updating everything, but school's a jerk so it's taking longer than expected. Don't worry, though, I'll be working on it this weekend, so we should be caught up by then.

Puffle Launcher Review

I don't think it's a secret that I love shooting small animals out of cannons. It's a hobby of mine that many of you may look down upon in disgust, but I don't care. And apparently neither does Club Penguin, because that's what Puffle Launcher, one of their newer games, is all about: shooting your beloved Puffles from weapons of destruction so that they can collect Puffle-O's to earn you coins. And you thought this was a kiddie game.

If you couldn't tell what this game was about from the name of it, Puffle Launcher is about launching puffles.
AMAZING, RIGHT??? Using the arrow keys to move your puffle and the spacebar to fire, you'll launch yourself from cannon to cannon to reach the end: a giant flamey-thing that looks like a ring from Sonic the Hedgehog.

The game is divided into 3 "levels", each with 12 stages (the last 2 levels are members-only), so the game is a fairly decent length, if you're good. But the added challenge of collecting all the Puffle-O's in a level, as well as collecting enough of them to build your own cannon, will make this game last that much longer.

Gameplay-wise, it's a blast (PUN INTENDED). It's a wild ride; zipping from cannon to cannon at a breakneck pace, you'll have to be on your toes at all times. It's not perfect, though. Sometimes the gameplay comes to a screeching stop when you're forced to wait for a green cannon to perfectly align itself so you can zoom off to the next one. Other times the amount of items on screen becomes overwhelming, causing confusion and ultimately failure of the checkpoint or level.

FINAL COMMENTS:

Club Penguin got it right on this one. It's fun, it's fast, and it's challenging. To be honest, this is probably the best game CP's put out in a long time, and you'd be crazy to miss out on it.

Wow, it's been awhile. JT's been occupied with other things and I said I'd quit a while back, so the blog just sorta...died, for lack of a better word. But its decomposing, nasty self gave off such a rancid stench I felt compelled to come back to "revive" it, or at least, you know, keep it updated and stuff. So, I'll be spending the weekend reviewing all the new games, content, and other poop we missed these past few months. Aww yeah.

Club Penguin Memberships Get Pricey

If you're a member of CP and just so happen to live in the United States, we've got some bad news for ya.
Club Penguin has recently upped their prices on memberships. Considering all the stuff you're getting with your membership, I think they're reasonable prices, but I understand that a lot of people might cancel their memberships over this because they just can't afford it. So what do you guys think? Do these prices make you want to cancel your membership, or if you're a nonmember, do they make you want to avoid being a member because it's too much?

I'm not qutting CP (not altogether, anyway), but I won't be posting on here anymore. I'm just not excited about CP enough to write about it, like I used to be, and I think it's time to move on. Not that it's a big deal that I'm leaving; you still have the amazing JT to keep you guys' company.

Hello Penguins!

The Haunting of the Viking Opera is returning to the Stage in February! To celebrate, we want to make a viking pin.

We need your help to decide what it should look like. Which pin would you like to see?

Yep, there's a new pin on the way, but first, YOU have to help decide which one it'll be. A Viking Shield, Helmet, or Boat? Personally, I like #2, but it looks like #3 is winning.

The new pin will arrive along with the Haunting of the Viking Opera in February.

Wilderness Expedition!

The Wilderness Party is out today, along with an awesome surprise.

You can find the entrance at the Dock, or just click on one of these here posters!

Once you're in the Glade, click on the box of FREE raccoon hats to claim yours.

Once that's done, you're ready to begin your wilderness adventure. YAY.

Follow the arrows in the pictures below to find your way through the totally-not-scary-forest.

Finally, once you get out of the forest, you'll encounter THIS contraption.

Just in case the image doesn't help, here's a step by step text guide for you:

1. Click on the plug.

2. Click on the jar of coffee beans.

3. Click on the nozzle of the coffee machine.

4. Click on the coffee pot.

5. Click the green button on the barrel.

6. Click on the small buttons as they light up on the panel to the right of the barrel.

7. Pull the blue switch.

8. Play the piano by clicking the green keys.

9. The transmitter will catch on fire! Put it out with 3 snowballs.

10. Play the piano again.

11. Click on the green button on the platform holding the telephone.

12. Click all of the yellow squares.

13. Pull the 2 levers.

14. Turn the gray valve.

15. Pull the lever dangling above the telephone.

16. Click the bottle of hot sauce.

17. Click on the big container of water.

18. Once the temperature lowers, click the vents in front of the tiny fan.

19. Click on the toaster.

20. Throw snowballs at the target that pops up until barrel "elevator" rises up to the platform.

Once in the next room, first buy a Life Jacket! (Sorry Non-Members, you can't go any further than this room :C)

Now you need to build a boat. The note on the iceburg with all the pieces on it can give you a pretty good idea of how to build it. Here's how it's supposed to look in the end.

You can't ride the boat 'till you have your life jacket on, so put it on and set sail!

Once you dock at the next room, you'll need to enter the cave.

Uhh....you first.

YUS! Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you: the Brown Puffle!

You can adopt one for FREE! But you can only get one. Naturally I made a poop joke and named mine Dookie, but if you're looking to do the same, there aren't too many funny poop-related names CP will allow. Awww. Once you adopt your little bundle of lovin', it'll walk around with you.

Once you're all set, finish your adventure by exiting to the Cove!

I, for one, think Club Penguin did a pretty swell job on this party. I hope to see more stuff like this in the future!

I think that Herbert found them and put them back togetherm after the HQ explosion. What about you?

In Focus: History of The HQ

Here is the history of the HQ!
2005 HQ
This is when cp was just a meger chat web. They creted secret agents and this HQ. There is not much stuff here. Just a TV. A light. A billboard, and a door. Pretty basic way back then. There really were not missions back then so there was really no point in being a secret agent. I don't even know if they had a spy phone!

2007 HQ
This is where all of the fun began. This was when cp had begun to get better at graphic designing and learned how to make rooms look cool. This is the HQ where all of the mission took place! You may think that the EPF is new, but it is almost as old as the PSA! If you bought the first cp DS game, you would get a code and you would be able to walk in the cabinet to get to the first EPF Command Room! If you clicked on any of the telivision screens, it would take you to that room!
That HQ was the favored by many and many wish it would come back. (Including me)

2010 HQ
This HQ was not around for long. Maybe a week or so. The HQ was destroyed along wityh the Sport Shop in May 2010. Penguins had a chance to eat lots of popcorn and say goodbye to the HQ! Now in the HQ had the most damage. You can see that on the "Things to Do" list. The first letter of each sentence is E, P and F. In the Sport Shop, it kinda gave away that there was a secret room. It had an arrow pointing to the door saying "Nothing to see here!"

Current HQ
This is the most High Tech room in cp YET! It has trillions of pipes going to and fro! It has a bug detector and cool spy phones! You can even do Field Ops! If you fill every seat up in the HQ, the lights will dim and a secret program will appear on the screen! The old PSA Cabinet is there and the OLD Epf stuff is there too! If you go into the tube transport, oyu can look at how all of the other HQs looked! The Everyday Phoning Facility is just a basic low tech room. (Or so most penguins think) Really it is steaming with tech! All of the pillars have a pad or EPF door under them! The phone is really an EPF TV! How penguins do not know that there is an HQ there, I don't know!

A note about Chat

So lately there've been a lot of folks swearing and being little turdstains on our chat boxes, most notably on the Rockhopper chat (which has been removed).
I don't know if it's because we don't really have any rules for it or if it's because you think you're cool because you swear over the internet. Either way, seeing as how this site is family-friendly, it means the chat needs to be, too. Starting today, anyone who swears on the chat gets a 48 hour ban. Anyone who swears and then proceeds to spam the board will get a permanent ban. Also starting today, we're laying down some new rules for it.
NO SWEARING: swearing involves any words you wouldn't say in front of you parents.
NO SPAMMING: you don't need more than 1 post to say hello.
NO BEING RUDE TO THE MODS/OWNERS: You should already know not to do this. Results in a 48 hour ban to a permanent ban.

Anyone who visits the chat from time to time might've seen me issuing a warning to people who swear on the chat, and know how mad I get about it. We WILL remove the chat from the site if this problem doesn't cool down.

In Focus: Coins for Change

For this week's In Focus we'll take a look at one of Club Penguin's proudest and most respected traditions: Coins for Change!
Coins for Change was announced in December of 2007 as a donation of $1 million real dollars to various causes. When Club Penguin saw how successful it had been, Coins for Change returned in 2008, and it's been going on ever since.
The basic concept of CfC is that players donate their in-game coins to various causes that change every year. At the end of the event (usually on Christmas Eve), the results are tallied up, and the cause that earned the most coins gets the most amount of money. The amount of coins that you can donate has increased over the years, as well. Originally, the most you could donate was 500 coins. Now, you can donate up to 5,000!
Rockhopper visits every year to help out with this event. He usually brings Coins for Change banners that members can put in their igloo. This year, members AND nonmembers can buy the special Coins for Change background he's brought with him.
These are the different causes that you could donate to over the years:

In Focus "Snow Trekker"

We are starting a new thing here at CP STORM. It is called In Focus. It will tell you all of the info you want to know! This week we are talking about the Snow Trekker. For those of you who don't know what that is, it is a big vehicle that you can ride on, push snow out of the way, and ride on water with. It was in the VERY first clothing catalog in the "Sold Out" section. People think that it was invented by Rory (a construction penguin from pld PSA missions) built the Snow Trekker, however Gary built it in the very first Club Penguin DS game. The last time it was used was in the Snow Party back in 2009. You can still see a modle of it here:

YET ANOTHER GLITCH

Club Penguin is reeeeaaaally messed up right now. Thanks to this new update they had a few weeks back, there has been glitch after glitch after glitch. And while most of the glitches have been fixed at this point (Igloo flooring not snowing up, multiple window bug, clothes going all out of whack when you dance), new ones keep popping up. Yesterday you guys said you had the same problem with the Candy Cane Wing Warmers not showing up. Today, I've found yet another glitch, but I don't think it affects everybody.

This pic wasn't edited in any way.

So apparently when I click on the newspaper, my penguin acts like he's reading it, but the newspaper itself doesn't pop up.

I'm not gonna make a big deal out of this cuzz I think it's pretty cool. But it only affects MY computer, because JT says he hasn't had this problem. YET ANOTHER GLITCH TO FIX, EH CP?

Candy Cane Wing Warmers Glitch

So it seems that whenever I wear the Candy Cane Wing Warmers, (you can get them by clicking on the yellow puffle on the page that sells the blue and pink snowsuits and the parka) they show up on my playercard, but not on my penguin.

And it's not just because I'm wearing a hoodie, either. Even when I'm wearing a normal t-shirt, or even swim trunks, the wing warmers won't show up. But when I wear the green Wing Warmers, they DO show up.

I really like those wing warmers and it sucks that I can't even see them on my actual penguin. Have you guys had the same problem?

Christmas came a few weeks earlier this year. Here are the cheats for this month's Christmas-filled catalog.

Click on the F on the coffee sign for my favorite hidden item in this catalog, THE BLUE FUZZEH HAT.

Click on the step to buy both the Yellow Toque and Black Whirlpool Snowsuit.

There are a whopping 3 hidden items on this next page. From right to left:

Click on the far right tree for the Blue Mittens.

Click on the tree-tip behind the pink penguin's head for the Blue Striped Scarf.

Then click on the tree on the far left for the Blue Earmuffs.

Click on the tree just above the dark green penguins head for the delicious Gingerbread costume.

Then click on the mountain in the background for the Snowman Costume and hat.

Click on the blue sparkly ornament on the tree for Snowboard Boots.
